Ship sinks in central Vietnam, killing 2

A ship suddenly sank off the coast of the Vietnamese central Quang Ngai province, claiming lives of two people, said Tran Ngoc Nguyen, the Chairman of the Ly Son District People's Committee, Vietnam News Agency reported.

The names of the two deaths were still unknown. The rest of the twenty eight others of the crew were rescued, said the report.

After receiving the news, local authorities speeded efforts to find the drowning crew, thus helping minimize the casualties of the sinking, said the report.
