"The coward attack in Bajawar once again indicates that terrorists as the enemies of Islam and humanity just want to kill innocent people,"Karzai said in the statement.
In the suicide bombing that rocked Bajawar's main city Khar on Saturday morning left 43 people dead and 72 others injured, according to local media reports.
The Afghan president, whose government has been fighting Taliban and associated insurgents over the past several years, in the statement also emphasized for joint struggle against terrorism.
