7.6-magnitude quake hits Vanuatu region

A strong earthquake measuring 7.6 on the Richter scale jolted Vanuatu region at 21:16 Beijing Time on Saturday, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center.

The epicenter, with a depth of 20 km, was located at 19.7 degrees south latitude and 168 degrees east longitude.
