Ata Zhurt leader Keldibekov elected as Kyrgyzstan parliament speaker

Ata Zhurt leader Akhmatbek Keldibekov was elected as speaker of Kyrgyzstan parliament on a Friday meeting here.

The meeting established a temporary vote committee. 116 of 120 parliament members took part in the vote.

According to the result, Keldibekov won the election with 101 "yes", 14 "no" and one invalid votes.

During the voting, Keldibekov answered questions including domestic politics, economy and diplomacy.

Besides parliament speaker, the meeting will also vote important positions including prime minister and vice prime ministers.
