A roadside bomb injured a woman and two others in the northwestern Pakistani city of Peshawar on Tuesday, witnesses and hospital sources said.

The roadside bomb targeted a police van on Charsadda road in the city, witnesses said.

No group claimed responsibility for the blast.

It is the second blast in Peshawar, the capital of Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa province, in two days.

On Monday, a roadside bomb attack hit a school bus, killing a boy and driver.

Meanwhile, Taliban militants attacked a check point in a Pakistani tribal region and killed two soldiers early Tuesday, official said.

Six other soldiers were also injured in the attack in the volatile Mohmand agency, bordering Afghanistan, they said.

Mohmand agency had been a center of Taliban attacks in recent days.

Two Taliban bombers attacked a tribal council in the same region last week and killed over 50 people.
