Thai deputy PM calls meeting with heads of all security agencies

Thai Deputy Prime Minister in charge of security affairs Suthep Thaungsuban on Monday held a meeting with National Police Chief, National Intelligence Agency Director and National Security Council Secretary-General to discuss the recently frequent unrests.
Deputy PM spent two hours with all the heads of relevant agencies to listen to their reports on recent disturbances and discuss especially the bomb attacks took place over the past several days.
National Police Chief Pol Gen Wichien Phojphosri said the meeting focused heavily on implementation of preventive measures to cope with spread and misuse of weapons.
Besides, National Intelligence Agency Director Suwapan Tanyuwatthana said after the meeting that more stringent measures on intelligence would be increasingly imposed.
The meeting resulted from recent bomb attacks occurred on almost a daily basis in Bangkok and its neighboring provinces.
