Suicide car bomb kills 8 at police station in NW Pakistan

At least eight people were killed and several others injured when a suicide car bomb exploded at a police station in Lakki Marwat in Pakistan's northwest province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa early Monday morning, reported local media Express.
According to the report, the blast took place when an explosive- laden vehicle rammed into the wall of a police station in the city, which reportedly was housing an estimated 40 to 50 policemen at the time.
Police have cordoned off the blast area and the injured people are being shifted to nearby hospitals.
This is the third most serious suicide blast that occurred in Pakistan in a week.
