Philippine gov't assures thorough, accurate investigation on hostage crisis

The Philippine government assured Saturday for a thorough, comprehensive and accurate investigation report on the hostage crisis on Monday which led to the death of eight Chinese tourists from Hong Kong.

"We will do everything to ensure that we can come up with a comprehensive, thorough and accurate findings," said Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) Secretary Herminio Coloma.

He said the investigation is being conducted by the Department of Justice and the National Bureau of Investigation.
