security guard shot dead two colleagues here on Friday after being blamed for dozing off when he was on-duty.
Omar Mammah, criminal investigation department acting chief of the state of Selangor, told reporters here on Friday that the incident took place at 5.30am at the car park of Klang Hospital.
According to the police, the guard, from Sabah State in East Malaysia, did not try to escape, but surrenderred himself to his supervisor and waited to be arrested at the hospital's security room.
The two victims, both shot in the chest, were from Kuala Lumpur, capital of Malaysia.
Omar said that preliminary investigations revealed that one of the victims had told the guard not to get sleepy when he was at work, resulting in a three-party squabble.
The suspect then pulled out his gun and shot dead the two victims after intense disputes, added Omar.
The case has been classified as murder by the Malaysian police.
Meanwhile, one of the victims' mother, also a security guard at the hospital, burst into tears when she found her son lying in a pool of blood, dead.
