A magnitude-5.3 earthquake hit Vanuatu around 0702 GMT on Saturday, said the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS).
The epicenter was monitored at 15.191 degrees south latitude and 167.387 degrees east longitude with the depth of 173.4 km.
