DPRK dispatches military helicopters to rescue flood-stranded people

According to the KCNA, heavy rains poured down on many parts of the country on Wednesday and Thursday, with Unsan county in North Phyongan province and Sinhung registering 204 mm of rainfall. The whole areas are submerged and at least 1,000 hectares of farmland have been destroyed.
So far, 68 people, many of them children, have been rescued, the KCNA said, without elaborating about the loss of property.
