"According to the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP), there will be enough supply of power to meet the demand," said Joe Zaldarriaga, Meralco External Communications Manager Joe Zaldarriaga.
NGCP operates 19,425 circuit-kilometers of high-voltage transmission and sub-transmission lines and 23,853 mega volt amperes of substation capacity in Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.
Residents in Luzon were kept in the dark after most power transmission lines were damaged when the typhoon hit the country on Tuesday evening.
