The resolution further noted that the peace process would not include those anti-government militants affiliated with al-Qaida network and other terrorist groups.
It also called on Taliban to severe ties with al-Qaida network.
The resolution demanded the formation of an authorized commission composed of tribal elders, influential figures, representatives from both chambers of the parliament and those militants who give up militancy to implement the decisions taken by the jirga.
It also demanded the deletion of the names of those Taliban and other opposition elements from the black list of the United Nations as part of efforts to boost the peace process.
The resolution called upon the NATO-led troops to stop searching Afghan houses and harming civilians during military operations against Taliban.
It also called on both the Afghan government and the international community to release some militants from detention centers as good-will gesture.
