Fifteen people were killed and 15 others wounded when a passenger jeepney fell off a ravine in Mountain Province, northern Philippines, a local publication said Wednesday.
Provincial Police Chief Senior Superintendent Fortunato Albas said the jeepney was traveling through the Besao-Bannaao provincial road Tuesday afternoon when it lost control, according to Inquirer.net, the online site of broadsheet Philippine Daily Inquirer.
Albas said that the jeepney fell into the ravine about 75 meters deep.
