An earthquake measuring 5.1 on the Richter scale hit Kepulauan Talaud at 0101 GMT on Wednesday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter was initially determined to be at 4.315 degrees north latitude and 126.876 degrees east longitude.
