Some 53 persons lost their lives during a series of clashes between troops and "red-shirt" protestors from May 14 to May 21, the Erawan's Bangkok Emergency Medical Service Center told Xinhua late Friday night.
Some 413 others were wounded, bringing the total casualties to 466 during these 8 days, the Erawan center said, adding that these were recorded by 04:00 p.m.
