A bus carrying 20 passengers fell into a river on Thursday in northwest Pakistan, killing 12 people including two women, and injuring 8 others, local media reported.
The bus was bound from Peshawar to Chitral when the accident happened near a tunnel in Dir Upper district due to overspeed, according to the report.
The death toll could rise as some of the injured were reportedly in critical conditions.
