Together with several check points, about 8,000 security staff have been deployed around, General Prawit said.
The two-day MRC international conference is hosted at the town about 200 km south of Bangkok, before the first MRC Summit kicks off here Sunday, which also lasts two days.
The security operations were managed under the Internal Security Act, which took into force Friday in four sub-districts of Hua Hin District in Prachuab Khiri Khan province and two other sub-districts of Cha Am District in Petchburi province until April 6.
