NATO helicopter crash wounds 12 in S. Afghanistan

Twelve people sustained injuries as NATO-led forces helicopter crashed in the southern Afghan province of Zabul on Monday.

"Twelve persons including nine foreigners and four Afghan soldiers aboard the helicopter sustained injuries," a private television channel Tolo reported in its bulletin.

This was the third NATO chopper that has crashed in Afghanistan over the past one week. Previously, two more helicopters crashed in Wardak and Kunduz provinces respectively.
