British boy abducted in Pakistan recovered

The British boy kidnapped in Pakistan has been recovered on Wednesday and police have arrested two persons over kidnapping charges, local TV channels reported Thursday.

Pakistan origin British child Sahil Saeed who was snatched from his family residence in Jhelum, a city in northeast Pakistan, has been found safely from Sialkot, a city in the northeast of Punjab province, along with two abductors including a woman.

Police officers said some members of the boy's family were involved in the kidnapping case.

According to the sources, the child has been sent back to Britain with his father.

The child was kidnapped seven days ago from his family residence in Jhelum.

According to media reports, the arrested persons allegedly involved in abduction of child had been issuing several threats to Sahil's family before committing kidnapping.

Those arrested have been moved to undefined location for investigation.
