Three servicemembers with the NATO- led International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) were killed in two separate incidents in Afghanistan Monday.

A press release issued by the ISAF said two NATO troops were killed by gunfire in another operation in western Afghanistan and another ISAF servicemember was killed in a small-arms attack in southern Afghanistan.

The ISAF press release failed to offer any further detail.

A massive operation on Taliban has been going on in the southern province of Helmand.
