Two loud explosions were heard from a house sieged by Indonesia's Densus 88 anti-terror force in Central Java, according to local media MetroTV on Thursday.

The TV report said the explosions occurred early Thursday morning in Kampung village, Solo area during an anti-terrorism operation.

The siege operation started at 10:30 p.m. on Wednesday (1530 GMT on Wednesday) and finished at 6 a.m. Thursday (2300 GMT on Wednesday), the report said.

So far, five people have been confirmed dead during the raid, including a woman. A member of the Densus 88 anti-terror force is also reported injured in the left hand.

The report quoted Dian, a neighbor of the alleged terrorist suspect, as saying that the explosions sounded like bombs with a radius of 500 meters from the sieged house.

There are six houses near the raid location, and the inhabitants had been evacuated by police to a safe place.
