The South Korean Air Force will send one of its transport aircrafts to the United States for a biennial multinational competition, the air force said in a press release on Friday.

According to the Air Force, it will send a C-130 transport aircraft with 33 crews led by a colonel to the July 19-24 "Rodeo" contest organized by the U.S. Air Mobility Command.

The South Korean transport is one of the seven teams to take part in the contest scheduled to be held in Washington State.

The participants will be tested in 30 areas, such as emergency medical transportation and maintenance and maneuvers, the Air Force said.
