The government of the Indian state of Punjab said that it will send a chartered flight from NewDelhi on Tuesday to Vienna, Austria, to bring back the body of a Sikh guru killed in an attack last week, according to a report by Indo-Asian News Service on Monday.

The death of Sant Rama Nand Dass, the leader of Dera Sachh Khand sect which is a faction of Sikh religion with followers from the low caste communities, triggered days of rioting in Punjab last week in which at least two people were killed.

Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal will send his top aide to Vienna to fetch the body of Dass on the chartered flight, said the report.

The sect leader died of gunshot injuries following an attack on him and another sect head Niranjan Dass at a temple in Vienna last Sunday.
