South Korean Foreign Minister Yu Myung-hwan has decided to cancel his planned visit to Washington next week on reason of busy schedule, South Korea's Yonhap News Agency reported on Friday.

Yu had planned to visit Washington and hold "strategic dialogue" with his U.S. counterpart Condoleezza Rice on next Monday to discuss nuclear issues on the Korean Peninsula and concerns over international issues, Yonhap said.

The South Korean side asked for the meeting to be indefinitely postponed due to Yu's busy schedule here, Yonhap said.
