Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari on Saturday denounced the cross-border raids, saying Pakistan would not allow violation of its sovereignty and territorial integrity.
"No country is allowed to violate territorial integrity and sovereignty of Pakistan in the name of countering terrorism," said Zardari in a maiden address at a joint session of the Parliament.
Zardari made the remarks in an apparent reference to recent cross-border raids by the U.S.-led coalition forces from Afghanistan.
The coalition forces are increasing their missile and drone attacks on targets inside Pakistan in recent months, blaming Pakistan's local Taliban for rising insurgency in Afghanistan. Source: Xinhua
