More than 60 Filipinos were deported last week from the United States for breaking U.S. laws, said the local television network ABS-CBN News on Sunday.

The Filipinos, mostly permanent residents with criminal offenses, were all flown back to Manila from Los Angeles on a chartered flight rented by the U.S. Immigration Bureau, said the report.

The U.S. immigration authorities have also arrested recently some 200 undocumented people, mostly Mexican workers, in chicken farms raising fighting cocks in several states last week. Among the arrested were some Filipinos, said the report.
