An earthquake measuring 5.8 on the Richter scale shook Indonesia's North Sulawesi province Wednesday, there is no immediate report of damages.
The undersea tremor occurred at 16:11 Jakarta time (0911 GMT) and was centered about 126 km southeast of the nearest town of Bitung, 10 km beneath the sea, according to a report from the meteorology and geophysics agency.
