Euro rises to one-month high vs dollar in Tokyo

The euro rose to a one-month high against the U.S. dollar in Tokyo on Friday morning.

At noon, the euro was quoted at 1.4485-4488 dollars and 116.92- 95 yen against 1.4485-4495 dollars and 117.16-26 yen in New York and 1.4390-4391 dollars and 116.50-54 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Thursday.

The dollar fetched 80.72-76 yen versus 80.84-94 yen in New York and 80.96-97 yen in Tokyo late Thursday.
