Residents take part in a rally in Juba, southern Sudan, on Jan. 7, 2011. The southern Sudanese are expected to head for the voting centers on Jan. 9, 2011 to vote in the referendum to decide whether the region should remain united with north Sudan or secede to establish an independent State.
