An earthquake of 5.3 magnitude hit central Afghanistan early on Monday, the United States Geological Survey said.
The tremor took place at a depth of 10 km at 00:58 a.m. local time around 190 km northwest of Kabul, capital of Afghanistan, said the USGS.
No immediate damage or injuries has been reported so far.
