Angolan President Angola Jose Eduardo dos Santos has appointed Antonio Paulo Kassoma, former governor of Angola's central province Huambo, as Angola's new prime minister, according to the Angolan President Office on Tuesday.
In a statement, the president office said the head of state Dos Santos signed on Tuesday a decree to appoint Antonio Paulo Kassoma as new prime minister while dismissing him as the governor of central Huambo province.
The new prime minister is to form a new cabinet soon as consecrated in the Angolan Constitutional Law, said the statement.
Meanwhile, the members of parliament elected in the September 5parliamentary elections are sworn in on Tuesday in the capital of Luanda. Source: Xinhua
