An earthquake measuring 6.0 on the Richter scale rocked Minnahassa Peninsular, Sulawesi of Indonesia at about 0755 GMT Thursday, according to a bulletin released by the Hong Kong Observatory Thursday.
The epicenter was initially determined to be located at 1.2 degrees north latitude and 122.6 degrees east longitude, about 260km west of Manado, Indonesia.
There have been no immediate reports of casualties by press time.
