Three people were wounded in two roadside bomb attacks in the Iraqi capital Baghdad on Tuesday morning, an Interior Ministry source said.
A roadside bomb went off in a crowded Square in Karradah neighborhood in central Baghdad, wounding three people and damaging several civilian cars, the source told Xinhua on condition of anonymity.
Another roadside bomb struck a U.S. patrol in the Sab'e Ibkar area in northern Baghdad, the source said, without telling whether the patrol sustained any casualty as the troops immediately cordoned off the scene.
Sporadic attacks continue in Baghdad, shaping a setback to the security in the capital after a relative lull of violence as a result of a U.S. military surge.
