Dutch Prime Minister Jan Peter Balkenende has reproached Finance Minister Wouter Bos for expressing his preference for U.S. presidential candidate Barack Obama.
"The Dutch cabinet does not have a preference for who will be the next U.S. president and nor do individual members of the cabinet, " Balkenende said on Tuesday evening.
Earlier on Tuesday, Bos said on TV show RTLZ that he found Barack Obama the most inspiring candidate and hoped a Democrat would win the elections.
Obama is one of the top runners as the Democrats' presidential candidate in the United States.
