Islamic Hamas movement on Sunday called on Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas to boycott a U.S.- hosted Mideast peace conference slated for November.

Hamas spokesman Ismail Radwan told a rally of supporters in Gaza City that the conference, aimed to revive the deadlocked Israeli-Palestinian peace negotiations, "will not comply with the Palestinian people demand."

Radwan also urged the caretaker government which Abbas designated after firing the Hamas coalition to "start serious political dialogue with Hamas and stop cracking down on resistance (against Israel) since it is a legitimate right of the people."

Hamas has accused the Ramallah-based caretaker government led by Salam Fayyad of pursuing its members and applying U.S. plans to end the resistance against Israel.

Moreover, Radwan also sent a message to the Jewish state, warning Israeli army against invading the Hamas-run Gaza Strip. " Gaza roads are paved with suicide bombers," he said.

"In Gaza, the army of occupation's work will be collecting the remains of its soldiers' corpses," Radwan said, calling on Palestinian fighters to "develop their rockets to reach Tel Aviv."
