El Salvador's President Elias Antonio Saca will travel this coming week to Colombia to sign a Free Trade Agreement (FTA) between Colombia, El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras, according to press reports reaching here from San Salvador, El Salvador's capital, Sunday.

Saca said through an official radio broadcast that he would sign the FTA with his counterparts from Colombia, Guatemala and Honduras Thursday in Medellin, Colombia.

This FTA "will undoubtedly bring great benefits to our economy, since the FTAs mean jobs," Saca said.

He will travel to Colombia after visiting San Jose, Costa Rica, where he is to attend Wednesday commemorative activities of the 20th anniversary of the signing of "Esquipulas II" Central American Peace Accord which has contributed to Central America's political stability.
