Suicide bomber kills 11 people in NW Pakistan: official |

A suicide bomber attack on a police station in Pakistan's North West Frontier Province (NWFP) on Sunday left at least 11 people dead, local TV channels reported. The blast struck the police station in the city of Dera Ismail Khan when the recruitment of policemen was going on, the District Police Officer Gul Afzal Afridi was quoted by TV channels as saying. Afridi said that more than 20 policemen and those came to take exams for joining police were injured in the blast, several of the injured were in critical condition. Afridi added that the injured were rushed to the local district headquarters. No group claimed responsibility for the attack.
