Within the next five years, China will become New Zealand's third largest inbound tourism market, according to predictions by Air New Zealand and the New Zealand Tourism Board, Xinhua Net reports.
New Zealand Airline, which will open direct flights from Beijing to Auckland on July 19, recently launched its new round of promotional activities to attract more and more Chinese tourists who are looking forward to a fresh and amazing experience in New Zealand.
After Beijing begins direct flights to Auckland, there will be two flights from Beijing to Auckland per week, on Thursday and Saturday; and on Wednesday and Friday, from Auckland to Beijing. These flights will all use Air New Zealand's newly-purchased Boeing 777-200 ER aircrafts. In December this year, non-stop flights to Beijing will increase to three flights a week.
