Chinese, Montenegrin PMs exchange messages on anniversary of diplomatic ties

Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao and Montenegrin Prime Minister Igor Luksic on Wednesday exchanged congratulatory messages to mark the fifth anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between China and Montenegro.

In their messages, the two leaders positively commented on the achievements made by the two countries in boosting their relations over the past five years since the establishment of diplomatic relations.

They also vowed to make continued efforts to promote greater development of China-Montenegro relations on the basis of the principle of mutual respect, equality and mutual benefit.

On the same day, Chinese Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi also exchanged congratulatory messages with Montenegrin Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Milan Rocen to mark the anniversary.
