Hungarian Prime Minister Orban meets with Chinese official

Viktor Orban, chairman of Fidesz party, Prime Minister of Hungary met with Hu Chunhua, member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and CPC chief of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region in Budapest on Tuesday.

During his meeting with Hu Chunhua, Orban said Hungary and China have traditional friendly relations. Hungary always sticks to One China policy, and Fidesz party cherishes its ties with the Communist Party of China.

Orban said Hungary is willing to promote mutual trust with China, to deepen cooperation in economy and trade, and to promote the development of Hungarian-Sino relations and EU-Sino relations.

Hu Chunhua said the two countries have adhered to mutual understanding and mutual support, and cooperation in all fields has been expanded since the establishment of diplomatic relations.

The Communist Party of China is willing to make efforts with Fidesz party to promote bilateral cooperation, and to facilitate the development of bilateral ties through inter-party exchange, added the Chinese official, who arrived here Sunday at the invitation of Fidesz Party.

During his visit, Hu Chunhua held a talk with Lajos Kosa, vice- chairman of Fidesz party.
