Chinese vice minister visits Nepal to promote press ties

A six-member delegation team led by Vice-minister of General Administration of Press and Publication of China Wu Shulin arrived at the Nepali capital Kathmandu on Wednesday.
The team is on a three-day visit at the invitation of the Editor's Society of Nepal (ESON).
Talking to Xinhua, Chairman of ESON Devendra Gautam said that the visit had been arranged with an objective of promoting the press and publication ties between the two countries.
Secretary of ESON and senior journalist Pushpa Raj Pradhan said upon arrival, the team met with Chair of the Constituent Assembly Subash Nemwang.
During the meeting, Wu said he hopes for sound press and publication ties between the two countries.
Nemwang also wished for long lasting relations between the two countries and expressed his gratitude for the visit at a time when Nepal is going through a crucial phase.
