Senior Chinese legislator meets Iranian women delegation

Chen Zhili, vice chairwoman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, China's top legislature, met in Beijing Wednesday with a women delegation from Iran.

Chen, also president of the All-China Women's Federation, held talks with the head of the delegation Maryam Mojtahedzadeh Larijani, an adviser to Iranian president.

The two officials also signed a memorandum of understanding on women and family affairs.
