Ukraine and China will strengthen cooperation between state attorney authorities, the Ukrainian Prosecutor General's Press Office said Thursday.

The agreement was reached at a meeting in Kiev between Ukrainian Prosecutor General Victor Pshonka and a delegation of Chinese attorney authorities. Pshonka briefed the Chinese about the prosecution system in Ukraine, their functions and tasks.

The parties discussed the general questions of cooperation and identified promising areas of activity between the prosecution authorities of Ukraine and China. Special attention was paid to the field of transport supervision, the statement said.
