Chinese president meets Ukrainian PM on bilateral ties

Chinese President Hu Jintao met Ukrainian Prime Minister Mikola Azarov in Sanya City of south China's Hainan Province Thursday to discuss bilateral ties and issues of common concern.

Azarov is in Hainan to attend the opening ceremony of the annual meeting of the Boao Forum for Asia on Friday.

China-Ukraine relations have developed steadily since the two nations established diplomatic ties in 1992. Bilateral cooperation in the sectors of economy, trade, science and technology have deepened remarkably in recent years.
