Chinese vice premier to visit Ukraine, attend nuclear security summit

Chinese Vice Premier Zhang Dejiang will pay a visit to Ukraine from April 18 to 22 as a guest of the Ukraine government, Foreign Ministry spokesman Hong Lei said Tuesday.

During the visit, Zhang will attend the first meeting of the vice-premier level China-Ukraine Cooperation Committee, Hong said.

Zhang will also attend the Summit on Safe and Innovative Use of Nuclear Energy in Ukrainian capital Kiev as a representative of Chinese President Hu Jintao, Hong added.
