Air China said Tuesday that it currently runs 30 flights, a total of more than 7,000 seats, between China and Japan each day.

The carrier denied reports in some media that it cancelled flights to Japan.

China Southern Airlines said Sunday its flights to Tokyo's airports have resumed. China Eastern said it had 44 flights to and from Japan Sunday.
