Japan's Sendai University Taiji Houzawa, the president of Sendai University of Japan, signed an international exchange agreement with Qinghai Provincial Institute of Sport Science on March 7, the day he visited Qinghai Duoba National Plateau Sports Training Base for academic exchanges.

This was the first time for Qinghai, the Chinese inner plateau province, to engage in an international cooperation in the arena of sport science.

It was also the first time for the Japanese partner to bind up with Chinese local research institute. Taiji Houzawa indicated his expectation of a deep bilateral exchange through this platform to improve the sports sciences and sports skills for both countries.
