China on Monday donated office equipment to the Cambodian Council of Ministers.

The 500,000 RMB Yuan (about 76,124 U.S. dollars) worth donation includes 30 sets of desktop computer, 32 sets of laser printers, 5 sets of fax machines, 1 digital camera, 4 scanner, 4 projectors and 20 cartons of notebooks.

Visiting Chinese vice commerce minister Fu Ziying hoped the Chinese donation to help Cambodia develop its economy and reduce poverty.

"Chinese government is willing to strengthen cooperation with Cambodia on all sectors based on equal and mutual benefits," he said.

Fu Ziying arrived here on Sunday on a four-day visit, and attended the 2nd China-Cambodia Strategic Economic Dialogue with Cambodia with the signing of a number of cooperation agreements, and also met with Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen on Monday.
