A group of 10 outstanding youths from Chongqing will take internships at the White House, according to an announcement made at a press conference held in Chongqing on Feb. 19.

It is reported that registration will be started from Feb. 21, ending at the end of March.

The program, called the Youth Ambassadors Eagle Plan, was open to only the outstanding students from Hong Kong and Taiwan in the past. This activity was for the first time to open to mainland students.

The plan was hosted by the U.S. Harvest Center. In the past 10 years, hundreds of outstanding Asian students have taken an internship in Washington, D.C. each year. The U.S. Harvest Center will donate an electronic library to make their contribution to society after it finishes this activity.
